Abdominoplasty Risk & Safety

The risks of tummy tuck surgery: Is abdominoplasty safe?-istanbul-turkey

There may be unusual side effects following a tummy tuck. If the necessary safety precautions are taken after the procedure, a nice recovery period will be experienced. The list of hazardous situations is as follows.

Bleeding is uncommon.

Over the first 24 hours, bleeding is more likely to occur. The breast drain helps to minimise blood in the surgical area following the treatment. Should bleeding persist, medical attention should be sought.

Infection is uncommon

An increase in body temperature, especially in the belly, could be a sign of an illness. An further important source of infection is female spawning. Antibiotics may be prescribed by the physician to treat or cure the sickness. It is important to remember that smoking spreads illness and should not be condoned.

Scars might exist.

As with every surgical procedure, this operation leaves scars behind. After a small tummy tuck, there is less scarring. The scars are pink-red at first, but with time they become skin tone and become less apparent. But since clothing covers them all the time, the scars are invisible. Also, some physicians suggest using creams to wounds. Diabetes should be managed and smoking should be avoided in order to reduce scarring and wound healing.

There may be some mild pain.

It's possible to experience pain within the first few days after the surgery. Painkillers given by a doctor are used to treat these aches.

The patient may not be happy with how the procedure turned out.

It's possible that the patient is unhappy with the photo. It can take a year or at least six months to get the final image.

Although incredibly rare, embolism is vital.

This condition, often called blood clotting or embolism, is more common in elderly adults, overweight individuals, and smokers. Walking and moving about following surgery, using compression stockings, and taking specific medications can all reduce the chance of clotting.
